Introduction
The Department caters the educational needs of learning community from coming different strata of society by providing equal opportunities in conventional & various  entrepreneurialprogramme. With the changing scenario, the curriculum is restructured to include basic as well emerging interdisciplinary and application oriented areas. The curriculum develops appropriate skills, which are significant not only to the students, but also to the local, regional and national needs. Sufficient freedom is allowed to the students to best suited to their interest and capabilities. The department also emphasizes on value based education to inculcate soft skills. The student is considered as a pivot of the educational system. Department provides a well planned teaching program & to carry it out effectively. Department has well equipped departmental library with reference books & general reading material.

5. Judge of the quiz contest for the arts faculty student was organized by sociology dept. on 21st
Dec.2012. The three groups of B.A.I, II, III were participated in the contest.
6. Student gathering 2013-14-Chief committee member Judge- Dance competition, craft exhibition & Gathering Report red
7. The elocution competition was arranged by the arts faculty. The inaugural and valedictory
arrangement of Dias toward me.
8. Work done as a coordinator of admission attendance and timetable committee--

  c) Monitoring the periods And took effort for good attendance of students by sending letter to parents and by phone calls.

  • Weaknesses of the department –
  i) Most of the student belonged to lower income group and illiterate parents. So least interest in or approach
  ii) Also most of students having a low percent in HSC.

  i) Further education like different diplomas related to H.Sc and enterprises.
  ii) Provide a favorable environment for all students.
  iii) Help the student to start very small enterp. By giving 500/- to 1000/- without interest.
