Introduction:

Department came into existence in academic session 2006-2007 for B.C.A. (Bachelor of Computer Application). The University has accepted the recommendation that degree of B.C.A & degree of B.C.S both will be equivalent for the purpose of admission to Post Graduate courses. The subject combination of B.C.A course is as under. - Computer, Electronics, Statistics, Mathematics, and Communication Skill are offered to the students. We all have realized that computer literacy is being equated with the basic literacy of human being. In the process of globalization this course has enormous job opportunity, practical knowledge, hence students have fascinated to a considerable extent.

Aims

We strongly believe in moulding students into ideal, responsible and productive citizens dedicated to Nation. While imparting need-based education, we enrich core values like nationality, honesty, quality, rule following and cleanliness. The same, we cherish through our aims and objectives.

Objectives and Goals

• It helps students analyse the requirements for system development and exposes students to business software and information systems. To make the educational opportunities available to unprivileged and under-privileged section of the society.
• To channelize the students potential in nation building.
• To inculcate need based skills among students.
• To make the students capable of facing the challenges in present scenario by providing the knowledge of latest technology and scientific attitude.
• To emphasize on values such as nationality, honesty, quality, adherence to rules and cleanliness for development of high standards of morality
. • Allow Learners to gain knowledge about computers in an "ALL AROUND" fashion; which will include both hardware and software components.
• To equip the students to meet the requirement of Corporate world and Industry standard.
