Laboratories

Laboratories are essential pre-requisite for good scientific teaching. We have independent, advanced, well equipped and well furnished Computer, physics (Electronics), Chemistry, Microbiology, Zoology and Home-economics laboratories.

Library & Information Centre

Library is being run in well face lifted new building. It consists of study books, reference books, various periodicals-journals, magazines encyclopaedias, news papers and different subjects wise (online) collection of CDs/DVDs.

Theatre cum Seminar hall ( Late Bhausaheb Godbole Sabhagruha)

The college has well furnished Audio visual Theatre to provide facilities to the students for Seminars, Conferences, guest – lectures with VCD, LCD projector- systems

Sports

The college has large playground. College provides well equipped facilities for indoor as well as outdoor games. The college teams Participates in various University, State and National level Competitions.

Medical Facility

First aid is available in the college. Wheel chairs are available for handicapped students. Medical Hospitals are close to the College premises. Doctors visit are arranged in the College for medical check-up of the students every year.

Electric Generator

College has the facility of generator to fulfil the need of electricity.

College Canteen (Common)

College has canteen in the premises to provide the refreshment to the students and staff members.

Parking Facility

Separate Parking Facility of Vehicles and Bicycles for Students and Staff members is available in the campus.

Girls Hostel

Girl’s hostel of capacity of 30, is in the College campus.

Advance Language Laboratory

We have a state of art Language Laboratory with latest software and multimedia System. It plays a very crucial role in fluency and train the students as excellent Communicator. All our students are benefited by it.

Digital Class Rooms

The College has three digital Class rooms with LCD projector and sound system.

Separate Sanitary Blocks

The College has separate sanitary blocks for staff members, boys and girls in the college building.

Research Laboratories

The College has well equipped laboratories. Faculty members are conducting minor /major research projects. Three faculty members are recognized research guides. Students are doing their research for Ph.D. under their guidance.

Career Guidance, Counselling and Placement Cell

The College has a separate placement cell for the college students to provide the guidance and counselling. It makes available opportunities of job at campus level. Companies like TME First Ltd. Hyderabad, EA Cellular, Apex Labs, LIC, Cipla have participated in Campus Interview conducted by Placement cell. Many students of the College have been placed in various companies from the placement cell of the college.

Competitive Examination Training Centre

The basic objective of the coaching scheme is to prepare students belonging to SC / ST/ OBC (non-creamy layer) and Minority communities to get gainful employment in Central services, State services or equivalent positions in the private sector. The coaching under the scheme should be oriented for particular examinations MPSC-UPSC, conducted for selection to services, such as the IAS, State Public Services, Bank Recruitment, etc.

Remedial Teaching/Coaching

Remedial Coaching have been started in the college in order to enable the students belonging to SC / ST / OBC (excluding creamy layer) / Minority communities, who need remedial coaching to come up to the level necessary for pursuing higher studies efficiently and to reduce their failure and drop-out rate. It improves academic skills and linguistic proficiency of the students in various subjects.

Network Resource Centre

Network Resource Centre is established in the college in 2010. We received the recognition of UGC under XI the plan. Under this Scheme internet facility is provided Free of cost to the students as well as teachers to upgrade their knowledge and improve their Learning, teaching and research activity.

College Magazine: Emerging India

We provide a forum for students in form of College magazine to develop a creative and analytical mind. It encourages students’ talent to write poems, short stories & articles on various current topics. The magazine “Emerging India” is published annually with special subject-theme which enables the students to think and write in different ways.

Suggestion Box:

The suggestion box is placed at the prime location near office to involve stakeholders in planning, implementation and evaluation by putting the suggestions.One can put the suggestions on our website also. www.khandelwalcollege.edu.in
